the sandman's revenge...
the sandman has mastered the art of seducing me in the early hours of the evening with his beguiling bedroom eyes, lilting lullibies, and his bulging sack of...sand. but yesterday marked the end of the affair, i'm happy to say. i resisted the temptation with the willpower of a thousand liquid-fast dieters. i stayed awake until 10:30, got everything done, and then went to bed at an appropriate hour with the intention to wake the next morning at an equally appropriate hour like a normal person. ah, sweet normalcy, how i've yearned for thee all these years!
the change in routine, however, did not curry favor with the feline crew, which resulted in their keeping me up half the night with their hissing and growling. normalcy? whither have you gone? did the evil-yet-sexy sandman chase you away? damn you, sandman! *shakes fist*
