better freaking weird than a weird freak...
as i'm sure you have noticed, oh faithful reader, this blog is unfortunately afflicted with the mark of internet poverty--the cursed ubiquitous web banner. it's annoying to look at, and renders my profound blathering somewhat less efficacious, but i am unable to allocate the $15 required per year to banish it into oblivion.
however, upon clicking on "template" and perusing the code, i did notice that i can remove it myself, free of charge. there *is* a commented plea to leave it in place in accordance with the terms of service, but i wonder...will the blogspot headhonchos really notice if it's gone? will a screeching alarm be activated complete with rotating red lights somewhere in the blogspot corporate offices as soon as i delete the offending code? will the blogspot kingpins promptly be coming to take me away, haha? blogspot bigwigs? are you listening? i hereby threaten to remove your intrusive ad via the backdoor that i so cunningly discovered! hello?
